By introducing you to CrossFit 🙂

WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

CrossFit is a general and inclusive strength and conditioning program based on constantly variable functional movement performed at high intensity. In other words, CrossFit is a regimen that improves life quality.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

We will bike, run, swim, and row at short, middle, and long distances, ensuring exposure and proficiency in each of the three main metabolic pathways.

We will also do a good deal of gymnastics, starting from elementary to advanced movements, acquiring great ability at controlling the body both dynamically and statically while boosting strength-to-weight ratio and flexibility.

We will pretty much put heavy emphasis on Olympic weightlifting, knowing that this sport has a unique ability to develop explosive power, control of external objects, and mastery of critical motor recruitment patterns.

Once all this is done, every day, at an increasing speed, while increasing the weights, we’ll encourage and assist our athletes to explore a variety of sports as a vehicle to express and apply their acquired fitness.

HOW DO WE KNOW CROSSFIT IS FOR YOU?

It is for you! How do we know? Because we know CrossFit is for all ages, profession, fitness level and athletic needs.

We know that the same CrossFit workout can be scaled and adapted to be done by a senior citizen, a kid, a person with disabilities, a mother of two, a computer programmer, a banker, a police officer and an athlete.

 WHAT ARE LICENSED TRAINERS?

All CrossFit Trainers must be LICENSED by CrossFit. Licensed trainers must obtain Affiliation Agreement with CrossFit in order to offer/sell their service, or they can work at an existing CrossFit Affiliate!
You are not entitled to use CrossFit Trademark unless you hold an Affiliation Agreement. Unlicensed individuals who expose, advertise or promote their service using CrossFit trademark are Infringers and do not represent CrossFit!

WHAT IS A CROSSFIT AFFILIATE / CROSSFIT BOX?

Affiliates deliver the coaching techniques & principles of CrossFit. Our social responsibility as Affiliates is to raise awareness and help people to become stronger physically and mentally! Our aim is to make our community better! There are over 13,000 affiliates worldwide in more than 120 countries and Boreas CrossFit is one of them.

CrossFit is a registered Trademark! The use of CrossFit Name is allowed ONLY BY AN AFFILIATION AGREEMENT with CrossFit Inc.
